Issues with icu4c on Mac

I installed all the pre-requisites and got the following with icu4c: > icu4c is keg-only, which means it was not symlinked into /usr/local, because macOS provides libicucore.dylib (but nothing else)....

I noticed that there is an example which allows the display to display a rainbow of colours continuously, but you cant access that in the radio, you can only set...

Are there any commands that prevent the program from generating the gif with a white background?
