If I'm reading [this Ruby issue](https://bugs.ruby-lang.org/issues/11033) correctly, it should be fixed in Ruby 2.4 which is used by ChefDK 2.x - can those impacted confirm? cc: @thommay @trevorghess

Great list - the lack of liveness & readyness probes is a bummer. I've also found myself wishing that the operator would expose topology type and leader election status.
