Hi, Sry for the late response, didn't see I was mentioned here :D I managed to get [Zig working for ESP32/ESP8266](https://github.com/INetBowser/zig-xtensa/blob/xtensa/XTENSA.md). Though the Xtensa backend still has some minor problems...

@kassane did you already try to build zig [with these steps](https://github.com/INetBowser/zig-xtensa/blob/xtensa/XTENSA.md)? With the zig built with these steps everything works like expected.
