I haven't looked at the code lately. I'll have a hard time fixing the issue in these days, but I may try to free some time later in the month....
When there are inconsistencies (in the calendar entries), the user should be clearly informed. Use a javascript alert or a notification window?
I don't think adding another url parameter would help, and the current implementation is OK. So let's call it a feature request that has to be prioritized.
