Hi, I've got the same error since I updated from 0.5.x to 1.x. I would be glad to help identifying the issue.
I just found out that the issue came from the general esdoc installation, that was not updated to 1.x, when updated the error disappeared.

Done @sorinsarca. It was good to add those tests I found that my solution was not working on all PHP versions.
I understand but I also realized that when running the tests only for DateTime, they are passing before and after my fix. And only Carbon is affected by the issue...
So what do you thing @sorinsarca ? Should I remove the tests for Carbon ?
