Great points, @foresto. Adding onto your point about expanding the documentation, perhaps the [Quickstart](http://docs.getpelican.com/en/3.5.0/quickstart.html) should describe the process for quickstarting a simple static site as well as quickstarting a blog?...

Since it doesn't seem like anyone else is actively working on this at the moment, I think I will work on migrating `pelican-import` and `pelican-themes` over to the `pelican-tools` repository...
