This is still an issue. Gen8 and 9 platforms have apparently been dropped per https://github.com/intel/compute-runtime/commit/19e2dd084604e40b8ea0e8b17ed8c6d1830415e4 but the github landing page is still claiming that they're supported.

I had this problem as well. I have removed the "Trash" option from my drives in Windows, so everything gets deleted immediately. It seems that there may be an interaction...
