[DevTools Bug] Cannot add node "1" because a node with that id is already in the Store.

Reinstalling the extension fixed the issue for me

What is required for this pr to work, is the library dependent on some react 16/17 specific feature? Does this library need testing or stuff for react 18? If so...

Why not to compare functions?

personally i think that would cause more harm than good. maaaybe you could do something if the function is pure (for the same arguments it has the same return), but...
