Same problem... Also added an epsilon to the floats but needed to take care to make it negative for the mark on the high end so that it doesn't disappear....
I found that compiling on mac I had to change the `-lGL` flag to `-framework OpenGl`. Even then though it compiled fine but I got segmentation fault when running it....
