The end of `/etc/locale.gen` is appended with two `en_US.UTF-8 UTF-8`.

I have a similar issue. During the installation process, I (only) chose `de_DE.UTF-8`. I noticed though that the environment variable LANG turned out to be `de_DE.UTF-8.UTF-8` which caused other issues....

[ERROR] An exception occurred during request: SSL handshake failed: EOF occurred in violation of protocol (_ssl.c:749)

Except for the last bit – (_ssl.c:997) – , I get the same error on iOS when I try to synchronize my tasks. Calendar on iOS works fine, on macOS...
