Understood. But that it is not what people expect when they call `spy` on a sparse matrix (coming from Matlab, matplotlib, ...). Plots.jl does it "right". I have no idea...
As far as I can see, symlog is not yet implemented in the pythonplot (nor any other backend). Is this something that can/will be done in the near future?
I have a need but I'm not fluent enough in Julia to implement it. Still learning... Sorry.
