@l1bbcsg I think you're looking for [`fastSwitchEnabled`](http://cdn.dashjs.org/latest/jsdoc/module-Settings.html#:~:text=Description-,fastSwitchEnabled,-boolean), it will replace segments in the buffer to higher quality ones if the network conditions allow.
