Probably. This code path is new since the adaptive rework and just wanted to find time to understand properly before jumping in.
@dagwieers have seen this forever too! Turn the TV on, streams silently fail to play. Then you remember you have to restart... but most users would probably not know this...
This is an issue that can't be fixed in this repo - root cause would be in Kodi itself

No not yet. Only really 2 active developers on this project at the moment, we're working our way through cleaning up and refactoring the code and once done we can...
