We could adopt the Pure Data approach. It overflows channels to the next available devices. For example channel 16 would become channel 0 of the second device.

@marthamareal you're right. It's the client that is managing the redirect, and it's only triggered with a Save As (new map). We could ask the client to implement a specific...
