The workaround of @mllab-nl worked for me, however this bug needs to be addressed. Bumping.
Try to remove the other network attributes @Karatekid2407, as those are incompatible with `network_mode`. See [here](https://docs.docker.com/compose/compose-file/05-services/#network_mode).
Maybe it could work for a past version of compose? I removed the `networks` part from the service block and it worked for me on version 3.9.
