@umbrabot still relevant You have a feature called AllowEditableFormSubmissions. Being able to save a form in a PartiallySubmitted state, and then come back later to finish it off using AllowEditableFormSubmissions...

As Mike said, this was a feature back in the days of Contour, and there is some code leftover from this in Umbraco Forms e.g. look at your FormState enum.
