I modified the script and saw that it was a permissions issue - so I assume that sudo is required - haven't tried as I had already updated manually

So this plugin does not work with Rider ? The "_Compatible with all IntelliJ-based IDEs_" bit should be revised

running into this same issue i with rider _2025.2.2.1_ plugin _1.0.46_ - i am not sure from this thread if this issue is resolved or what the actual work around...
