Normally, they wouldn't shift. But when you press a new different hotkey while shifting, and move a window to another zone where there is already a window, they both shift...
But the mode is not available yet right? Also, scooting and shrinking is not very good right now/useful. Let's say you snap a window to the left (Win + Numpad4)...
