(I fully admit this isn't a 'bug' per se, but it's something I think we should probably fix. I'm open to moving this discussion elsewhere if it's better off there.)...

It seems to me (and apparently others) that syncs only _actually_ occur every other update. I don't think this happens immediately upon starting a pier, but after a few revs...

After creating a notebook it cannot be opened

I created a notebook, marked it as only updatable by the host, then hit a stack trace. When I try to navigate back to it, I get the same trace....

Maybe I'm missing something — but don't you have to go through the OAuth flow to get an `ACCESS_TOKEN`? If that's the case, it'd be great if the app could...
