That seem to be a different error and is somehow caused by truncating pdftex.map. If you remove all the lines above the cm\* lines it works. I don't know yet...
It seems to be caused by gzip. Disabling it on the server solves the issue for me. The reason is that emscripten will interpret the content-length in the response header...
