This issue is fixed in version 11.0.3.
In the meantime, 2 days ago, the tests have changed. So I can hardly add the tests to this patch which is based on an older version of the code.
I do not use the composer installation. Under LINUX I also have a /var folder. But TYPO3 does not use it.
