Check both sides of PCB, I had some resistor and caps torn off. I found value from schematic and replaced them. SMD size is 0402.

It could be fake also. I bought some cheap 5.3 dongles, and linux desktop recognizes as clone/fake and has a driver that recognises it as fake and ignores some paramters...
