1/ This setting is about comments (and likes?) to the file. I agree with your other points. There shouldn't be a notification for every file, a summary would be better...

I would suggest to remove the tabs completely. It is not obvious to all users. It would be better to integrate Reminder and Recurrence settings into the main Create/Edit form....

They already do appear in the search. It seems title and description are taken into account but unfortunately not the location.

On my phone I can move the toolbar somewhere else (just by holding it). But I guess most users don't know that.
