### Description Given machine in initial state (see image), `state.nextEvents` includes an entry for the onDone transition. (And transition can be fired by clicking on _**onDone**_ in the inspector) ###...

Feature request: VSCode extension / online editor - store layout info as a field in each compound state (and use in inspector)

Current challenges with editing machine layouts: - The `@xstate-layout` comment created by VSCode extension cannot be used by `@xstate/inspect` nor copied into editor in Stately Studio - Layout work done...

.json() should omit object properties with value === undefined

`undefined` is not JSON compatible and will cause e.g. `jq` to barf.
