As @jmyersmsft mentioned, the keyring runs the artifacts-credprovider behind the scenes. There is an issue on that repo tracking this enhancement [here](https://github.com/microsoft/artifacts-credprovider/issues/437).
Please try the [0.3.5](https://pypi.org/project/artifacts-keyring/0.3.5/) version that should fix this issue

just released the 0.3.5 version! It removes the sdk but not the runtime requirement. We have future plans to remove the runtime dependency as well.

@Darsstar While some of the refactoring here seems useful and we would consider, can you please split this to have the refactoring and the "minimal verbosity" implementations in different PRs....
