Short update, as we follow-up considering such an enhancement via our agile development process, in dedicated task CPOUI5FRAMEWORK-605.

FYI, not expecting a jQuery UI update soon, but we track its evaluation and possible impacts in the backlog via CPOUI5FRAMEWORK-600 for future updates/reference.
