I would love to have this behavior for other stages that ingest manifests -- specifically, I think the Run Job stage could really benefit from this.

we need to expose connection string parameters in querulous. right now you'd have to change it in the source code and rebuild the library :(
i haven't seen any pull requests for these but i'll take a look at these forks.
