a decent option could be a [free-tier](https://circleci.com/pricing/) CircleCI setup that runs a linter and a schema validator on PRs.
Why not just highlight the relevant stripe when the label is moused over? Of course, this wouldn't work for static firefly displays with no input..
It is likely that all of these issues have the same root cause, yes.
