Guess that's fair enough. Changed the description accordingly. Also have the same black screen using the PSP BIOS with Bushido Blade using Windows 10.
Just tested it myself, and it does indeed happen when using an Xbox One controller, but not when using a Dualsense controller through DS4Windows.
