Try to add `font-weight: bold !important;` to the very last child you want to bold. In my experience, the CSS is not inherited to subsequent child elements.
I had similar case with yours. My solution is to add a new selector that pinpoint to the element you want to style. Not its parent, but the element itself....

I second @sebastianpatten. The fix doesn't work even in v2.1.2
