There is a nuget package that supports .net core - https://www.nuget.org/packages/DapperExtensions.DotnetCore/. I've started a project using this and not had any issues so far.

CORS headers are being set when requested with `Origin` header - we should open an issue in the detektiiif repo to get an answer as to why it's not picking...

Updated readme with details of running the apps and tests. Will need expanded with details of functionality that is yet to be migrated.
