This should not be an issue, since I am writing to a USB 3.0 Stick with more than 12GB free. The Recording hits 4gb before stopping.

Oh ok. Is there a way to recduce the filesize of recordings and stll record 15-20 minutes of video without sacrificing quality?
Have you disabled desktop effects? Happened to me sometimes on my earlier youtube recordings. Another thing to check is going to **Compositor**>Vsync and then set it to disabled or automatic

The application itself isn't really made to "become" and appimage. I tried the way at appimagecrafters recommends to create appimages, but bundling binaries and finding modules are a mess
I am currently working on adding more Discord RPC features to idkr, I will take a look into this and try to obtain an solution.
Cannot replicate on Manjaro, works fine for me
