Why not have style check options like rubocop? This way you could enable/disable rules as your style guideline requires.

It seems you don't have `gcc` available. Maybe you are removing the compiler before running the pip install? Or maybe a path problem?

I don't know if it really is a JUCE issue, since [helio workstation](https://github.com/helio-fm/helio-workstation) uses JUCE and doesn't lose focus on clicks. I don't know how to test it, though.
