I just ran into the same bug. I will enable rotation as a workaround now, thanks for the hint.

Meanwhile [openairportmap.org](https://openairportmap.org) is there and the amount of aeroway=jet_bridge doubled within a year! I think it's time to reconsider to render this feature on the map. :-)

The issue seems solved. If maybe somebody else could confirm then we can close the issue.

I would really love to see minor buildings rendered in a more discreet way -- whats the current status of this issue?

I just tried with paint: Before:  After:  I would probably lighten the outlines of the minor-buildings (garages, sheds, etc.), too, but this wasn't feasible with paint.

@kamicut sounds like a reasonable generalization. But for relations it's quite easier to figure out if they are areas or rings. If it's about the smallest possible step, we could...
