@tongyaop this extension provides both format document capability as well as indenting as you type. Is this what you mean by auto indenting?

This is an area we want to expand upon and are looking into as part of a multi-team effort. I am not able to provide any estimates at this time.

Thanks for raising this! I don't believe there is currently a way to prevent this popups from appearing. We will look into means to silence them.

A new setting to hide these popups has been added in [v1.2.5](https://github.com/mathworks/MATLAB-extension-for-vscode/pull/173), and the popups now contain a button to hide future occurrences.
