might be too complicated to implement timer+vblank which is what most games do for sample playback on the Gameboy.

if anyone has a TNS-HFC, TNS-HFX or a Nishizumi and a Famicom cart that has a real Sunsoft 5B, we need a hardware recording to confirm this behavior.
PPMCK's ROM export only supports 2A03, I don't know of any tools that can convert NSFs into ROMs that supports expansion chips.
