I think this issue and #30 are the same problem - deb-simple should be copying the contents of the `control` file into the `Packages` file, which will contain the `Package:`...
@MartinVerges I think this error is only with 1.4.0 - a version I built from master works fine. The fix from #31 is the key.
@unbeforkinglievable I think this issue is fixed in master - all Packages files require those fields but `deb-simple` wasn't copying them in some cases depending on how the control file...
