Installing the [`gst-plugins-good`](https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/gst-plugins-good) package seems to fix the issue. ``` sudo pacman -S gst-plugins-good ```

I know that this (#1147) issue was created before the following one: - https://github.com/pop-os/shell/issues/1020 but since there's more activity over there, I think it's safe to close this one in...
@MarceloPrado do you have time to review and merge PRs? Because I'm planning to open one that resolves all the merge conflict of this PR.
