This would definitely be handy. Even if it's a separate app, as long as it is as easy to setup and use that the kvm, I'd be happy with it....
So, based on this [comment](https://github.com/tolbertam/hyper-font-ligatures/issues/8#issuecomment-489907635), looks like there's a fix for this in xterm.js. Would be really awesome to get that pulled in so ligatures will work without a performance...
