I am sorting the `apps` entries now, which seems to *not* ~solve the problem~ @philippthun . Still looking for a solution.

Unfortunately, SQLite is not the best persistence backend for a certain load and over. `wal = true` will not take you very far and will not solve all SQLite persistence...
