ipykernel ignore signals

After quick search - https://github.com/ipython/ipykernel/blob/f03856014d5fdf86779a72b8d7f85f412f446696/ipykernel/kernelbase.py#L1245. Looks like IPykernel check kill signal for child processes, not main one.

could you please share dockerfile? looks like not bug, just wrong configuration

POST /api/kernels/{kernel_id}/interrupt 500 Response. "Kernel is in a pending state. Cannot interrupt."

Which version of Python and Jupyter you are using? Is it reproducible with lower version?
