Actually, the problem was mine. I was running in the context of `opendylan>` and hadn't realised that I needed to change the project before I could run the compile command...

Yes, that would have helped. The [DIME documentation](http://opendylan.org/documentation/getting-started-cli/dylan-mode-for-emacs.html) does explain setting the project, but I realise now that I must have jumped straight past that part and then fell down...
