I'm betting that this is due to Chrome ditching Manifest v2. Chances are some of this addon's functionality is impossible to port over to Manifest v3* *= This assumes this...

Popping in to report that I can't block instagram. Edit: Tiktok is also not blockable! Edit 2: Youtube is also not blockable! Am using Firefox
