Better error message for missing value arguments

Any chance this could be merged? It looks like this project isn't very active. Is anyone maintaining this?

Updated dependencies so this uses pug instead of jade

It appears that the CI project is setup for Ruby, so there is no way to get this node app to actually pass it.
