What they are saying is that there is a shim written to use some proprietary driver. Not reverse engineered and fully free.
Getting the same segfault on ubuntu 18.04 so something is just wrong, we need a flatpak of this. Snaps suck :(
Ok, figured out the segfault. I got it when I was running on wayland.
I see support is now merged in the latest fwupd-release now! That is great! Does that mean it is nearing completion? Or is there still outstanding work to be done...
I did the fix described in #231 then it worked. But yes a real fix would be nice.
@lguohan Is there still something needed before this can be reviewed?
@pma1 I had the same issue but with bluez-5.71-2 What solved it for me was to remove the paired headphones and re-pair.
Any update on this issue?
This is an issue for me as well. Been trying with different zoom levels as well but it did not help
