I think a checklist would be good - something like: - [ ] add locale variant names in lower case (e.g. `names = ["en", "en-us"]`) in arrow/locales.py - [ ]...

The [new release 3.7.6](https://github.com/explosion/spaCy/releases/tag/release-v3.7.6) should resolve this :)

Similar lemmatisation issue (spaCy version: 3.8.8): "I am riding on my blue bike.": riding -> lemma: "rid" (expected: "ride") But probably belongs to this master thread: https://github.com/explosion/spaCy/issues/3052
