This should probably just be an alternative to the Play framework and Jersey and Spark.
The Java version has support for this: https://github.com/DefenseStorm/LiveStats/blob/master/src/main/java/io/praesid/livestats/DecayConfig.java I'd welcome a pull request adding this feature to the Python version.
