Feature request: increase timeout for homing

We have a particular slow joint and we have to restart the canopen motor node as it gets a timeout. Is it possible to increase/set the homing timeout duration?

Since moveit2 targets python3, have type annotations been considered? I would do it if there is interest and no one is opposing this idea, or is python2.7 still supported?
