Hi, I'm not an Apache Royale team, but if you want to use sftp client, I don't think as3 would be fine because raw Sockets aren't implemented (only WebSocket). So...
It seems your question wasn't for Apache Royale but for Air SDK. If this is the case, you could search for an FTP lib in as3 and use secure sockets...
