Sounds good. It may be better to have it as a separate project module, but if you get the code working we can review how best to host it.

Is Spring 2.0 backward compatible?
If there's going to be examples in multiple languages, wouldn't it make sense to separate them out under scripts into separate directories? i.e. `scripts/rust`, `scripts/lys`, etc?
Is the build failing or are you just getting a warning? The challenge is that we want to retain BerkeleyDB support in Crux for the time being.
